If contacts already exist in the sync target, sync.blue® can recognize them and merge contact fields instead of creating duplicates.
Recognition criteria
Contacts are recognized as "identical" and associated based on these contact fields:
- Email Address
- First and Last Name
Priority
If an identical contact (e.g., with the same email address) in the source and target has conflicting field values (e.g., differently spelled first names), the field from the source will be adopted.
