How do I synchronize my contacts with the snom phonebook?

Benefit

• Resolve caller names when ringing
• Choose contacts by navigating from the snom phone book

Option A (CSV import)

After a successful sync (target: sync.blue® directory), you can use your snom-compatible Simply download the phone book as a CSV file and use it as a phone book in your snom phone simply import.

Steps

1. On sync.blue® Dashboard: Create a new connection that syncs your contact source to the target "sync.blue® Directory" and wait for the sync process to complete.< /span>
2. Download the CSV file:
   Example: https://directory.sync.blue/contacts/DEMOabcABC0123< /span>/snom/v2 
   
3. In the web interface of the snom phone: import the CSV file. 
   Example -URL: http://192.168.178.147/adr.htm
   
   
   

Option B (XML phone book)

Setup in the snom web interface

• Load this here current sync.blue® Directory SSL certificate high: http://YOUR-SNOM-IP-ADDRESS/certificates_server_certs.htm
•  On the same page, also load this current sync.blue® CA certificate high.

Known limitations of the snom XML phone book

• When ringing, the name does not shown on the phone display based on the XML phone book.
• Contacts cannot be searched for via snom keystrokes (only via scrolling possible).
