If contacts already exist in the sync target, sync.blue® can recognize them and merge contact fields instead of creating duplicates.
Identification features
Based on these contact fields, contacts are recognized and assigned as "identical" if either
- E-mail address or
- First and last name
are the same.
Priority
If an identical contact (e.g. according to their email address) has contradictory field values in the source and destination (e.g. first name spelled differently), the field from the source will be adopted.
