When authenticating via personal user accounts using OAuth, the connection depends on the respective user account and its permissions.
- A password change or password reset usually does not immediately interrupt the connection. However, a reauthentication may be required if the OAuth authorization expires or is revoked.
- If the user account is deactivated, deleted, or loses the required permissions, the connection can no longer be extended. In this case, the affected accounts must be reauthenticated.
💡 Recommendation: If supported by sync.blue, we recommend using an app registration (Application Registration) instead of a personal user account. This way, the connection is not dependent on individual users, password changes, or personnel changes and can be operated more stably in the long term.
