Features
The sync.blue® App for Microsoft Teams enables easy access to central company contacts with a single click.
Technical Overview
- Contacts from various sources (such as Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Global Address List) are first synchronized into the target "sync.blue® Address Book".
- In the sync.blue® Address Book, the Microsoft 365 Tenant ID is linked once with the sync.blue® Address Book.
- The administrator makes the app "sync.blue® for Microsoft 365" available once for certain or all Microsoft 365 users.
- The Teams user opens the sync.blue® App for Teams and sees all contacts that were previously synchronized with the sync.blue® Address Book.

As a Teams User: Installing the sync.blue® App
- In Teams, open: Apps -> Built for your organization -> sync.blue® -> Add
- Open the installed app via the left navigation bar.
Known Limitations
- Sometimes Microsoft makes the app available to Teams users in the "Provided by your organization" view only after several hours.
- Sometimes the sync.blue® App for Teams does not appear in the "new Teams" but does appear in the "old Teams". Here, waiting a few hours or contacting Microsoft support seems to be the only help.
