How do I set up caller name resolution from external data sources in anynode?

Prerequisites for this scenario

To enable caller name resolution via anynode, you need to have a created sync.blue® ADDRESS BOOK to subsequently allow token access. The token is located in the settings of your created address book in the sync.blue® Dashboard.

Step 1: Configure Route Supervision in anynode

With the token and the sync.blue® ADDRESS BOOK, we already have everything needed to set up in anynode. For the setup, we go through the individual steps of the "Route Supervision" wizard:

1. Enable the Configuration Mode in the anynode Dashboard and navigate via the left navigation menu to Route Supervision. 
   Auxiliary Objects -> Route Supervisions -> Add Route Supervision: Add a new Route Supervision.

2.  Type: Select REST client.

3. Interface: For the URL of the REST servers, use https://addressbook.sync.blue/contact/remote/lookup/?uid=<sync.blue® ADDRESSBOOK UID>&token=<sync.blue® ADDRESSBOOK TOKEN>&anynode=true
   You can find the UID in the same place as the token for the address book.

4. Next, select Do not use authentication data for the REST server.

5. Request Settings: Set the behavior for unexpected or missing server responses to Accept this route.

6. SIP headers: No settings are necessary here.

7. Call statuses: Activate the checkbox Start on Call and leave the HTTP method set to POST. 

8. Object rewriting: Click the locks on the menu items and use the setting Accept this route.

9. Test: To test, you can use a phone number that is in your sync.blue® ADDRESS BOOK. The sections Automatic test and Name do not require any special settings.

10. If a TLS error occurs, still complete creating the Route Supervision and use the following workaround with the Network Security Profile.

11. TLS/DTLS protocol settings: anynode may have problems verifying our certificate. Enable the checkbox do not validate the certificate the TLS Server presents here. The connection between the telephone system and the sync.blue® ADDRESS BOOK remains encrypted.

Step 2: Activation in the Routing Domains

1. Navigate in the left main navigation to Configuration -> Routing Domains: Navigate to this point in the left main navigation and select the desired domain. In the main window, under the Routes tab, click on the appropriate connection and press Edit.

2. Filters: Activate the checkbox Use route supervision.

3. Supervision: Select your previously created Route supervision.

4. Establishment: No changes necessary.

5. Name: Name the route.

6. Commit: Save and activate all changes using the Commit Button at the top right in the anynode Dashboard.
