How do I set up automated digital business cards for all employees?
sync.blue®
Updated
Once your company directory has been successfully synchronized with the sync.blue® ADDRESS BOOK, you can provide the digital business cards with just a few clicks.
Configuration in the sync.blue® ADDRESS BOOK
Activate mode: Navigate in the address book overview via the gear icon (top right) to the settings and activate the business card mode. Here you define your company colors and upload your logo.
Generate business cards: In the contact overview, use the function icon "Create business card" to create individual cards for your employees.
Provision: By creating the digital business card, the employee receives the option to share their contact details via link, QR code, and wallet.
Receive, share, and save digital business cards
After the business card has been created, various functions are available for provision and saving:
Web link (business card icon): This icon on the contact points to the public web link of the digital business card.
Apple Wallet (smartphone icon): Starts the download of a .pkpass file to store the business card directly in the Apple Wallet.
When we open the digital business card via the web link, we get two more options for sharing the business card:
QR code: The icon at the top right of the business card displays a QR code. This can be scanned with the smartphone camera to open the link to the business card without manual entry.
vCard download: Via the "Save contact" button on the digital business card, a .vcf file can be downloaded. This allows recipients to save the contact directly in their local email program or mailbox.
