How do I synchronize contacts between Microsoft 365 Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams?

No separate connection is required to synchronize personal contacts in sync.blue®: Microsoft uses Microsoft Unified Contacts internally to automatically synchronize contacts from the main folder (personal address book in Microsoft 365 Exchange Online) with personal contacts in Microsoft Teams (e.g., Calls → Contacts).

However, if additional external contacts – e.g., from a CRM system, public Exchange folders, or other sources – should also appear in Microsoft Teams, sync.blue® actively ensures that these are synchronized with personal Exchange Online contacts and thus made available via Microsoft Teams.
