In sync.blue, you can easily invite additional people to your existing account. This gives you the flexibility to grant other users access to your entire account or only to specific address books.

To ensure a smooth setup, a few short steps are required from both the main user and the invited user.

Important note: The invited person does not need their own sync.blue account in advance. After your invitation, they will receive all further information by email.

Invitation status: As soon as you have entered the email address, the user will immediately appear in your permissions overview. This applies even if the person has not yet created their own account or has not yet actively accepted the invitation. This way, you always have an overview of all pending and active shares.

How can I access a shared sync.blue® account?

	Invitation email: As soon as the main user has added you in the permissions, you will receive an automatic email from the sync.blue® service.   Accept invitation: In the email you receive, there is an option to log in to sync.blue® with an existing account or to  create a new account. Use one of these two options. Click profile icon: After logging into your account, you will find your profile icon at the top right in the navigation. Click it to open the menu. Select “Login as”: In the drop-down menu, the “Login as” option will appear for all accounts that have been shared with you. Select the desired user to log into their account. Use permissions: The secondary user is now able to work with the permissions assigned by the main user.

Important note: The secondary user does not need a separate paid subscription. With the granted permission, they use the subscription purchased by the main user, even if they only have a free account.
