* Notes:
- Phone numbers must be stored in the E.164 format in the Teams contact (field "Work" or "Mobile").
- After contact synchronization, Microsoft indexing takes a relatively long time to recognize new phone numbers when an incoming call is received.
** Notes on M365 Exchange Online:
- Microsoft provides personal Exchange Online contacts via so-called Microsoft Unified Contacts. These standardize contacts, so that personal Exchange Online contacts are automatically visible (even without sync.blue®) in Microsoft Teams (e.g., under Calls → Contacts).
sync.blue® can also be used to synchronize external contacts – for example, from a CRM system, public Exchange folders, or other sources – with personal Exchange Online mailboxes.
